I understand that plans change, and I do my best to be flexible. However, because I reserve time specifically for your pets and do not double-book, the following cancellation terms apply:
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the start of service – 100% refund
Cancellations made 3–6 days before the start of service – 50% refund
Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice – no refund
This policy ensures that I can offer fair scheduling to all clients and continue to provide high-quality, dedicated care.

Payment is due before the start of service. Invoices will be sent 24–72 hours prior to your booking, and payment can be made easily through the secure link included on the invoice.
You are welcome to save a card on file through Wave’s secure platform for easy future payments. Your card will never be charged without notice or without your direct request—your consent and transparency are always a priority.

Reactive or High-Energy Dog Policy
Safety and well-being—for your dog, the public, and myself—are always my top priority. To ensure safe and successful outings, I require the ability to use appropriate, humane handling tools when working with reactive or high-energy dogs. These may include:
Properly fitted harnesses
Muzzles (for safety, never punishment)
Slip-leads or figure-8 leads
Prong collars
E-collars
Other structured handling tools as needed
Retractable leashes are generally not permitted, as they pose a safety risk in most real-world environments. They may only be used in very specific, controlled scenarios at my discretion.
All tools will be discussed in detail and approved by you before use, and I am fully trained in applying them correctly, safely, and with the dog’s comfort in mind. If I am not permitted to use safe and appropriate equipment, I will be unable to proceed with walks or hikes for dogs who pull excessively or display reactivity.

Your trust and comfort matter deeply to me, and the same is true for my personal safety and privacy while staying in your home.
Indoor cameras or recording devices must be turned off or removed during overnight in-home pet sitting services.
Outdoor cameras and doorbell cameras are absolutely fine and may remain active.
This policy ensures a respectful and secure working environment while still allowing you to monitor your home’s exterior. Thank you for supporting a safe and mutually respectful care partnership.
